Thought patterns and how that shapes our actions!
Good afternoon beautiful ladies.
I drop into you on a Wednesday this week, a couple of days later as the energy of the long weekend and pace of life got kicked up a notch for me. I also wanted to be fully present in this email connection with you. I actually wrote this late Tuesday night when all my creative juices were flowing. Attending a beautiful women’s circle by the lovely Leanna. Just what I needed to ground back to the beautiful energy of the women and deep within.
Today’s blogs direction I wanted to give you some areas for thought, reflection and then perhaps thinking about what that means or could look like for you.
Bear with me as I go into more depth with where I’m coming from and why I’m coming in from the angle I am.
Promise I won’t write too much of a novel, but give you food for thought. Allocate time and space to write your answers down, to let them sit within your vision. The more you see what you write, you will start to allow yourself to think and notice in that way naturally.
Now I’ve touched a little on this before but will again in this blog.
To step back and have awareness in the way you think, the way those thoughts shape your actions.
This can range from things like daily tasks that you always do, cause you’ve always done them that way.
The way you think of those tasks and how you have told yourself that they are your task to do. It could be any topic and will be different for every woman. But the more I listen and support women, I hear very similar things, similar self-thoughts.
I want you to take a few minutes and think about the energy you have with yourself.
Is it negative thoughts and energy?
I wish I had this, I wish I didn’t have to do this, I wish I looked like that, I don’t have this because of that, I hate ………… because I have to do it. This is all a negative loop thought pattern and energy which in turn will keep that negative energy looping. A closed mindset, not allowing a directional change.
Creating the direction of your life to continue to be a negative loop though patterning. Making those neural pathways stronger and stronger.
What if?
What if you could change your thought patterns into a positive loop?
I am a powerful woman, I am resilient, I get to do……….., I’m grateful for ………, I get to wake up each day, I am an amazing loving mother, sister, friend.
That’s just one angle, thinking about the energy of the thoughts.
Self-talk and judgement.
There is so much to be grateful in life, that if we don’t slow down, we can tend to get caught up in the busy.
We lose sight of what’s important, YOU and the life you want to live, the life you deserve!
Why not you?
You are no different to the next person.
You may say, but some people get the luck, I never have anything great happen, that’s not my life story.
Is that the lens you are looking and thinking through.
A Negative loop?
What if you could catch your thoughts and turn it all around, would you start to see the world in a different lens? Would things start to fall into place because your path and energy has been shifted?
What if you could turn it all around, would you put your energy into making that happen?
Exactly like a fitness plan to drop weight, build muscle or endurance.
This is all available in your reality you just have to allow your mindset not-only to be linear. (rationality, logic and rules)
Why not allow for lateral thinking? (divergent, creative, spontaneity)
We are women, we are powerful, empowering, we are caring and giving YES, but we also need to ensure we find our inner I AM.
We are on earth honestly not for too long, don’t waste the days, the years fly by and it’s time to allow yourselves the happiness, the power that is yours to change the trajectory of your life, if you want it.
I feel like I’ve started to get your mind to think about how you think about and go through your day.
How those thoughts really do shape your reality.
So, my question to you is:
If you could change two thought patterns that you know you have which are negative, what would they be?
Now I want you to think about how you can shape that thought pattern into a positive one for yourself.
Try to place it somewhere you will see it daily, maybe the bathroom mirror or the fridge.
So for example it may be
Negative: I never have any time for me.
That then negative loops into I don’t have time for…., I have to do the ……. For the kids etc.
Positive: I AM making time for me. You positively decide to make time each day for you.
That was just an example and I’m sure each woman reading this will have a different negative they may tell themselves.
